Anxiety is a modern ailment affecting more and more people, especially engineering students. Sensitive to this problem, Institut Polytechnique de Lyon recently set up a stand dedicated to mental health in its schools, in collaboration with sophrologist Sophie Roux and the PETITE MU association.
Preventive medicine plays an essential role in the management of anxiety, by identifying risk factors and proposing appropriate solutions. At the stand, students had access to information on the various aspects of mental health, as well as methods for managing stress and anxiety.
Institut Polytechnique de Lyon’s initiative bears witness to a growing awareness of the importance of mental health in the academic world. By offering a space dedicated to prevention and support, IPL establishments are actively committed to promoting the well-being of its students. This approach is in line with our desire to create an environment conducive to personal and academic fulfillment. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region for its support in carrying out projects linked to the health of our students.
