Under a beautiful sunny sky, international students from the four IPL schools (CPE, ECAM LaSalle, ISARA and ITECH) gathered at parc Blandan to enjoy a spring picnic together, this Wednesday, April 8th, 2026. With many students from all four schools attending, joined by the IPL staff, the group shared much more than food: stories, memories, and a taste of home.
The dishes brought by everyone offered a true journey around the world: Greek tzatziki, Québécois hachis parmentier, spicy chicken and rice representing Africa, Cambodian-style dried shredded pork known as chà bông, as well as German pretzels and local cheeses. Cameroonian and Colombian sodas added a refreshing touch to this culinary experience. Every bite was an invitation to discover something new, and students proudly shared the origins and preparation of their dishes.
For dessert, there was a selection of sweet treats: plantains, Belgian Liège waffles, and figs topped with Colombian arequipe, delighting everyone with a sweet tooth.
In this warm and friendly atmosphere, sharing became a language of its own.
Through events like this, IPL aims to support integration and encourage connections between international students from its four schools. This picnic will surely be remembered as a highlight, simple, welcoming, and rich in cultural exchange.
