Every year, many students from IPL schools cross borders to enjoy an international mobility experience, whether as part of an academic exchange or an internship abroad. These trips mark an important stage in their journey, filled with cultural discoveries, academic learning, and personal development.
These projects would not have the same impact without the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. Thanks to the Regional International Student Mobility Grant (BRMIE), students receive a financial support of €95 per week, which is essential in removing economic barriers and making international mobility accessible to as many people as possible.
In 2025, 427 students from CPE, ECAM LASALLE, ISARA, and ITECH were able to benefit from a regional grant for their mobility abroad.
The regional grant represents a real support for students, offering them the opportunity to open up to the world, strengthen their employability, and accompany them in building meaningful professional and personal careers, as some students testify:
Mathieu L. (ECAM Lasalle)
“These four months in Taiwan have been an incredibly enriching experience. It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover the world and new cultures, so I think it’s really worth leaving France. I would particularly like to thank the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region for awarding me a mobility grant, which allowed me to fully enjoy my semester abroad.”
Joseph W. (CPE)
“My exchange semester was an exceptionally enriching academic, human, and cultural experience. This mobility allowed me to broaden my technical skills in the field of industrial process engineering, while developing a real international outlook and a better understanding of Nordic teaching methods.”
