As an Erasmus consortium since 2001, IPL decided to celebrate Erasmus Days by organising an international Staff Week.
From October 11th to 13th, around twenty partners from Germany, Ireland, Norway, Poland and Portugal, as well as from the Philippines and Thailand, joined us in Lyon to meet up, visit the schools, exchange ideas and gain a better understanding of the management of European projects and international cooperation.
Programme
Day 1: after a general presentation of every participant, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region presented the fundings and tools available to regional higher education institutions to boost their international development. The day ended with an excellent dinner in the city centre.
Day 2: We then continued our Staff Week at ECAM where, after a campus visit, we attended two Erasmus+ workshops on Blended Intensive Programmes and international cooperation projects. After lunch on the sunny terrace overlooking Lyon, our partners took part in the ECAM International Forum or visited Lyon Old District on a guided tour.
Day 3: On our final morning, we were welcomed at ITECH. After a campus visit, we discussed International Credit Mobilities and Erasmus Mundus projects. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gustavo Insarraulde from the Université Jean Monnet in Saint Etienne for sharing his experience in this field with us.
We would also like to thank the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region and the Erasmus+ France Agency for their support and contributions, as well as all the partners for the wonderful synergy and energy created!
