Internationalization is an important aspect of university life. Aware of its importance, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region actively supports student mobility and the internationalization of higher education institutions in the region.
Each year, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region provides international mobility grants, worth €95 per week, to financially support students who undertake a university exchange or work placement abroad as part of their course. The duration of the exchange must be at least 4 weeks and can be up to 26 weeks.
In 2024, 458 students from CPE, ECAM LASALLE, ISARA, and ITECH were able to benefit from a regional grant for their mobility abroad.
The regional grants are essential in supporting students from the IPL schools. It enables them to make their international mobility plans a reality, offering them a unique opportunity that enriches both their academic and personal journey, as shared by some students:
Clara B. (ECAM Lasalle)
“My time in Australia was a rewarding adventure that far exceeded my expectations. I not only gained valuable academic and professional skills, but I also made lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.”
Océane A. (CPE)
“My international mobility experience was amazing, and I have no regrets. I hope every student has the chance to go abroad. I’d also like to thank the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region for making this experience possible through their grant. I’m also grateful to my school, CPE Lyon, for giving me the opportunity to have such an experience.”
